Digital Transformation for Vocational Excellence: Innovating Education through Advanced Technologies

CogniSys is participating in DIGITEX, a European Erasmus+ project designed to help vocational education and training keep pace with the rapid digital changes reshaping the workplace. Industry feedback is clear: companies are looking for stronger, more practical digital skills, yet many learners and educators still lack accessible pathways to gain them. DIGITEXbrings partners from across Europe together to close this gap with training that is modern, hands-on, and aligned with real labour-market needs.

Over the project’s lifetime, DIGITEXwill develop learning resources that make advanced digital topics understandable and usable, without requiring a specialist background. The project combines an online learning environment with interactive content, real-world examples, and classroom-ready demonstrators developed in collaboration with industry. The goal is straightforward impact: better-prepared learners, upskilled teachers, and stronger links between vocational training and employers, supporting employability, competitiveness, and inclusive access to opportunity.

CogniSys contributes expertise in applied artificial intelligence, data analytics, and cybersecurity to ensure the project’s learning resources are both practical and engaging. We are leading the development of a learning module on artificial intelligence and modern generative tools, and we are developing an AI-powered language tool that supports interactive learning within the project’s digital environment. Beyond content development, CogniSys supports the coherence and usability of the training package so that VET centresand training providers can adopt it more easily and we will share the project’s outcomes with stakeholders in Greece through a dedicated multiplier event.
